My Approach

I’m Liz Yarock, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and psychotherapist working with adults and adolescents. I aim to create a warm and supportive space where you feel both understood and supported. I'm an active and collaborative therapist, offering thoughtful reflection and insight throughout our work together.

My therapeutic approach is rooted in a psychodynamic and relational framework and integrates cognitive behavioral therapy (cbt), acceptance and commitment therapy (act), mindfulness, and self-compassion. My intention is to help you better understand patterns and life experiences, develop greater self-awareness and self-trust, and incorporate practical strategies tailored to your individual needs.

Compassion is at the heart of my practice, as I believe meaningful change and healing begin when we feel truly seen and supported.
